I’ve just come back from a weeks camping/adventuring in the south of france. Choosing to travel by car ferry not air was one of the best decisions made in a long time. Thinking that the ferry would be a good place to catch some rest for the long journey ahead was not so cleaver. The boat designers must have been under a strict brief to create the most un-sleep friendly furniture possible (cleverly thought out armrest positioning and so on)…. If you havent booked an expensive cabin for the night, you will stay up and eat, drink and shop!
